Meet Amanda,

  Passionate about supporting those living with dementia and their care partners, Amanda offers a variety of dementia care training, consulting, and supportive services based on the teachings of Positive Approach to Care® (PAC™) founder, Teepa Snow. She also draws insight from her own professional experience having worked in dementia care communities, skilled nursing, and in-home care settings. 
  Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Hospitality Services from Central Michigan University. In addition to her three PAC™ certifications, she is also a trained yoga instructor, Certified Activity Director (NCCAP), and Certified Dementia Practitioner (NCCDP).  Born and raised in Michigan, Amanda now enjoys a peaceful Texas ranch life with her husband, where she tends to her many furry and feathered "babies." When she isn't working, she is usually doing yard work or repairing things around the ranch, enjoying classic country or old gospel music, exercising, baking, getting takeout from one of her favorite restaurants, or listening to her latest Audible book selection. She also looks forward to her annual bass fishing trip to Michigan every summer! 
  Within Reach Care was created for the purpose of helping others become better dementia care partners and to be a resource for those seeking support while navigating the challenges of brain change. Whether it is staff in the healthcare industry or family caring for their loved one at home, Amanda wants to help.
